Greetings! Songs for the new album are being scribbled as I type. You’ll be able to hear some of them live in the near future. Gigs are being planned for February. Watch this space.
Friday evening is a live recording at the Phase Music studio in London E17. It’s the first of a new thing. I’ll be playing a short set and a few of the songs will be recorded and filmed. As well as the cameras already there, people are invited to film the performance themselves and include their footage in the final cut. It should be pretty good. There is space for a small audience so it would be great if anyone wants to come down. Just drop an email to info@nickevans.co.uk for more info. The mighty Paul Cree is also performing.
News just in… Nick will be supporting Goodtimes Goodtimes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsKlB_coC0o) for tour dates in Italy on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of December. Please keep an eye on the gigs page for info.
Oxjam is the UK’s biggest music festival. In October, events will be taking place up and down the country to raise money for Oxfam. Nick will be performing at Oxjam – The Camden Incident on October 25th. It’s taking place at The Green Note in Camden and Tickets are now on sale at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/93257
This Friday (Sept 24th) Nick will be playing at Babalou in the crypt of St Mathews church, Brixton. Admission is £5 and he’s onstage at 7.30pm.
